This year, 2022 – marks the official Kyabram Cannery centenary year...

To celebrate this milestone occasion, a special commemorative publication 'Kyabram Cannery 1922 - 2022', in honour of the one-hundred-year journey of one of Kyabram’s largest economic establishments was launched at the Kyabram Town Hall on Saturday afternoon with over 120 guests (from near and far) in attendance.

A historical collection depicting the former cannery days and even some new exhibits within the ‘Memories of Yesterday’ display - also officially opened on the day. Later in the evening, an informal dinner followed at the Kyabram Club to continue the celebratory event and reminisce.

The 138 page book features the words and images of local people, businesses, events and captures the essence of the Kyabram Cannery’s history and long-lasting impact on the surrounding town and farming communities. A wonderful souvenir with many family memories to share.
